About Us
The American Family Association of Mississippi
has a mission
of representing Christ through the promotion of a pro-family
agenda and educating Mississippi on many critical issues facing our state.
AFA of MS is a state affiliate of the American Family Association, the most active, conservative, grassroots
organization in America.
American
Family Association of Mississippi
is a
nonprofit organization (501(c)(3)), made up of Christians who care deeply about becoming active citizens for the purpose of
guaranteeing that local, state and federal governments act in ways that
strengthen, rather than threaten, families. As such, we work together with
Christians of all denominations, as well as with other Americans who agree with
our mission and with our governmental ideals. In the Bible, God's people
constantly were being called to influence society, both through their witness
and through their citizenship. Joseph, Esther, Daniel, Paul, and others
are examples of godly leaders who excelled in both the religious and civic
arenas.
We provided voter information on all state officials for the 2003 elections
through the first state-wide voter guide for Christians in Mississippi and will
continue to provide issue oriented information so that voters can be informed
about where the candidates for public office stand on issues of concern to
Christians.
Your support of this organization is
needed in several ways:
First, you can pray for the Lord's
leadership and guidance of this organization. We truly seek to act in ways
that are in accordance with His will. We are only humans, too, so we need
your prayer support.
Second, you can contact us about becoming
involved in your local area.
Third, you can support us financially
so that the things needed for the organization to function will be paid for when
needed.
we will
continue to stand firm for we know we have a firm foundation
